Job summary

Fawkes and Reece is seeking an Electrician to support a large social housing responsive repairs scheme around Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwickshire, carrying out maintenance and repairs on electrical services in tenanted and void properties. You’ll aim for a first-time fix with minimal supervision.

Role is 40 hours weekly with an on-call rota (1 in 6–8 weeks). A company van and fuel card are provided along with tools, PPE, overtime, and a bonus up to 5%.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
• 18th Edition.
• Gold CSCS/JIB Card or AM2 qualification.
• Social Housing experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence with ≤5 points and no bans in the last 5 years.
• Two references if you haven't previously worked with Fawkes & Reece.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on electrical services in tenanted and void properties.

Electrician required to start immediately on a large social housing responsive repairs scheme working in and round Stratford upon Avon and Warwickshire on a permanent basis.

The Client

Our client is a large main contractor who operates nationwide and works alongside councils, housing associations and insurance companies.

The Role

Main duties are carrying out all aspects of maintenance and repairs on all electrical engineering services as required in tenanted and void properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision. You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.

The working hours are 40 per week plus generous paying ON CALL rota 1 in every 6-8 weeks. The annual salary is £40,000 - £41,000. A van and fuel card is provided.

There is street parking on site.
