Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an Electrician to join a large social housing repairs scheme, working in Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa on a permanent basis.

Role covers maintenance and repairs of electrical services in tenanted and void properties, with a focus on first-time fixes, budget adherence, and quality workmanship, 40 hours per week plus on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
• 18th Edition
• Gold CSCS/JIB Card / AM2 Qualification
• Social Housing experience
• Full UK Driving Licence - must have less than 5 points and no driving bans within the past 5 years
• Must be able to provide 2 x checkable references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before

Responsibilities

Electrician required to start immediately on a large social housing responsive repairs scheme working in and round Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa on a permanent basis.

The Client

Our client is a large main contractor who operates nationwide and works alongside councils, housing associations and insurance companies.

The Role

Main duties are carrying out all aspects of maintenance and repairs on all electrical engineering services as required in tenanted and void properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum supervision. You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.

The working hours are 40 per week plus generous paying ON CALL rota 1 in every 6-8 weeks. The annual salary is £40,000 - £43,000. A van and fuel card is provided.

There is street parking on site.
