Job summary

Premier Recruitment Hub is recruiting on behalf of a well-established property maintenance contractor for an experienced Electrician to join their growing team in Tonbridge, Kent. You will perform planned and reactive domestic electrical works across occupied and void properties, ensuring safety and high workmanship while delivering excellent customer service.

Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2391/2395 or equivalent, 18th Edition BS7671,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
• City & Guilds 2391/2395 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification.
• 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Category B Asbestos Awareness.
• Face Fit Mask compliant (clean shaven or willing to use specialist PPE).
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Full and partial domestic rewires (surface and concealed).
• Electrical installations within kitchens and bathrooms, including cookers, showers, sockets, lighting and extractor fans.
• Installation and maintenance of heating controls and electrical components for wet heating systems.
• Consumer unit and distribution board replacements.
• Installation of SWA sub-mains and tails.
• Installation and maintenance of domestic fire alarm systems.
• Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
• Testing and inspection of electrical installations.
• PAT testing of company-owned properties and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Complete all certification and job documentation accurately.
• Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations, health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working within occupied homes.
• Undertake occasional electrical works within company-owned commercial premises.
