Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are urgently seeking an Electrician to join a large social housing responsive repairs scheme, working in and around Rugby and Warwickshire on a permanent basis. You'll carry out maintenance and repairs on electrical services in tenanted and void properties, taking ownership to achieve a first-time fix within budget and time constraints.

The role is 40 hours per week with an on-call rota of 1 in 6-8 weeks, and a company van with a fuel card is provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
• 18th Edition.
• Gold CSCS/JIB Card / AM2 Qualification.
• Social Housing Experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence with less than 5 points and no bans in 5 years.
• Two checkable references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before.

Responsibilities

Job description

Electrician required to start immediately on a large social housing responsive repairs scheme working in and round Rugby and Warwickshire on a permanent basis.

The Client

Our client is a large main contractor who operates nationwide and works alongside councils, housing associations and insurance companies.

The Role

Main duties are carrying out all aspects of maintenance and repairs on all electrical engineering services as required in tenanted and void properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision. You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.

The working hours are 40 per week plus generous paying ON CALL rota 1 in every 6-8 weeks. The annual salary is £40,000 - £41,000. A van and fuel card is provided.

There is street parking on site.
