Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a fully qualified Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover sites across West Manchester and Lancashire, with Preston ideal. The role requires reactive maintenance, fault diagnostics and remedial works on commercial properties, and offers a company van, fuel card and overtime at premium rates.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with travel between client sites and progression opportunities within a growing building services team.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations experience.
• Approved Electrician status (JIB or equivalent).
• Strong experience in commercial electrical maintenance and fault-finding.
• Experience carrying out reactive maintenance and remedial works.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial properties.
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults across a range of building services systems.
• Completing electrical remedial works, repairs and installations.
• Carrying out electrical testing, inspections and fault-finding.
• Identifying the root cause of electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Supporting new installations and project works where required.
• Ensuring all electrical works are completed safely and in line with current regulations.

I am currently working with an established Building Services company who are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover sites across West Manchester and Lancashire.

Our client is looking for a fully qualified Electrician with a strong background in commercial building maintenance, particularly reactive maintenance, fault diagnostics and remedial works.

This is a mobile position offering plenty of opportunities for overtime, paid at enhanced rates.

Daily Responsibilities Will Include

• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial properties.


• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults across a range of building services systems.


• Completing electrical remedial works, repairs and installations.


• Carrying out electrical testing, inspections and fault-finding.

• Travelling between client sites across West Manchester and Lancashire.


• Liaising with the Electrical Manager and Director regarding ongoing works.
