Job summary

Vertu FM is recruiting a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join its regional team covering Leeds, Bradford and surrounding areas. You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across retail and commercial sites, complete PPMs and fault finding.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a 1 in 5 callout rota and a salary of £38,686 including callout allowance. A UK driving licence and good IT skills are required, with career progression opportunities within the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with an Electrical Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• 17th or 18th Edition qualification.
• Previous experience carrying out electrical maintenance across commercial sites.
• Strong experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across retail and commercial sites.
• Complete electrical PPMs, fault finding and reactive repairs.
• Carry out minor installations, alterations and associated electrical works.
• Complete some general building maintenance and fabric repairs where required.
• Work independently across a mobile regional portfolio.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Provide a professional service to clients and site teams.
• Complete job reports and relevant documentation accurately.

We are working with a highly reputable and well-established facilities management contractor providing building maintenance services to clients across the UK.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician to join their mobile engineering team, working across a regional retail portfolio.

The Role

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across retail and commercial sites.
• Complete electrical PPMs, fault finding and reactive repairs.
• Carry out minor installations, alterations and associated electrical works.
• Complete some general building maintenance and fabric repairs where required.
• Work independently across a mobile regional portfolio.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Person

• Professional, reliable and able to work independently.
