Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a fully qualified Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover sites across West Manchester and Lancashire. You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance in commercial properties, diagnosing faults and completing remedial works.

The role requires NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and JIB Approved status, with opportunities for overtime on a permanent, full-time basis.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations are required.
• Approved Electrician status (JIB Approved or equivalent) is required.
• Strong experience in commercial electrical maintenance and fault-finding is essential.
• Experience with reactive maintenance and remedial works is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial properties.
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults across building services systems.
• Completing electrical remedial works, repairs and installations.
• Carrying out electrical testing, inspections and fault-finding.
• Identifying root causes of electrical issues and implementing solutions.
• Supporting new installations and project works where required.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with current regulations.
• Traveling between client sites across West Manchester and Lancashire.

Job Description

I am currently working with an established Building Services company who are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover sites across West Manchester and Lancashire.

Our client is looking for a fully qualified Electrician with a strong background in commercial building maintenance, particularly reactive maintenance, fault diagnostics and remedial works.

This is a mobile position offering plenty of opportunities for overtime, paid at enhanced rates.

Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial properties.

• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults across a range of building services systems.

• Completing electrical remedial works, repairs and installations.

• Carrying out electrical testing, inspections and fault-finding.

• Identifying the root cause of electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.

• Supporting new installations and project works where required.

• Ensuring all electrical works are completed safely and in line with current regulations.

• Travelling between client sites across West Manchester and Lancashire.

• Liaising with the Electrical Manager and Director regarding ongoing works.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Electrician with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

• Approved Electrician status (JIB Approved or equivalent).

• Strong experience in commercial electrical maintenance and fault-finding.

• Experience carrying out reactive maintenance and remedial works.

• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.

• Full UK driving licence.
