Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician to perform reactive and planned electrical maintenance in occupied social housing across Brent and surrounding areas.

This mobile role travels to domestic properties, completing reports via PDA and working on immersion heaters, lighting, showers, and safety certificates. A company van and fuel card are provided, with overtime/call-outs possible.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent is required.
• 18th edition wiring regulations is essential.
• 2391 inspection and testing is essential.
• ECS Gold Card or working towards is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• 2 years social housing/domestic electrical experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance in occupied social housing.
• Travel across Brent and surrounding areas.
• Report and complete records via PDA.
• Complete minor works certificates and testing.
• Work on void properties when required.

We are recruiting for a leading social housing contractor to recruit Maintenance Electricians to carry out reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social housing properties in the Brent and surrounding areas.

This is a mobile role, traveling to domestic housing association properties for preventative & reactive maintenance and remedial work on occupied and unoccupied (voids) properties.

Receiving instructions and completing reports via PDA, work includes immersion heaters, fans, showers, security lighting, communal lights, domestic electrics, completion of minor works certificates and inspection, testing & remedial work on exchanges and voids.

Electrician Essential Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent (Essential)
• 18th edition (essential)
• 2391 (essential)
• ECS Gold Card or working towards
• Full UK Driving License
• Experience in a similar role
• Good Communication skills
• At least 2 years experience working for Social Housing Contractor or Local Authority on domestic electrical repairs contracts (desirable)
