Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is recruiting for an Electrician - Maintenance to cover Sittingbourne and the surrounding area. This permanent mobile role involves reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social housing properties with a company vehicle and fuel card provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent required.
• 18th edition required.
• 2391 required.
• ECS Gold Card or working towards.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social housing properties in Sittingbourne and surrounding areas.
• Travel to domestic housing association properties for preventative and reactive maintenance and remedial work.
• Complete reports via PDA and carry out minor works certificates, inspection, testing and remedial work on exchanges and voids.

Electrician - Maintenance

Social Housing Repairs

Covering Sittingbourne and surround area

Permanent Position

Salary £43,000 + company van and fuel card provided

We are recruiting for a leading social housing contractor to recruit Maintenance Electricians to carry out reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social housing properties in the Sittingbourne and surrounding areas.

This is a mobile role, traveling to domestic housing association properties for preventative & reactive maintenance and remedial work on occupied and unoccupied (voids) properties.

Receiving instructions and completing reports via PDA, work includes immersion heaters, fans, showers, security lighting, communal lights, domestic electrics, completion of minor works certificates and inspection, testing & remedial work on exchanges and voids.

Electrician Essential Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent (Essential)
• 18th edition (essential)

• Experience in a similar role
• Good Communication skills
• At least 2 years experience working for Social Housing Contractor or Local Authority on domestic electrical repairs contracts (desirable)

Electrician Salary & Benefits:

• 40.0 Hours per week
• Hours 8AM - 5:00PM
• Working R&M ( Day 2 Day )
• 22 days Annual leave increasing to 1 day each year until 25 Days
