Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is recruiting Maintenance Electricians for a mobile role in the Hastings area to carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance in occupied social housing properties.

This temporary position offers 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours, a company van and fuel card, and potential overtime. You will hold 18th edition, NVQ 2/3 (or equivalent), ECS Gold Card, and a full UK driving licence, with relevant domestic repairs experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent.
• 18th edition (essential).
• 2391 (desirable).
• ECS Gold Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence, no more than 3 points.
• Experience in a similar role.
• At least 2 years in social housing/domestic repairs (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned maintenance to domestic properties.
• Travel to housing association properties as required.
• Immersion heaters, fans, showers, lighting and domestic electrics.
• Completion of minor works certificates and inspections.
• Report progress via PDA and complete documentation.

We are recruiting for a leading social housing contractor to recruit Maintenance Electricians to carry out reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social housing properties in the Hastings area.

This is a mobile role, traveling to domestic housing association properties for preventative & reactive maintenance and remedial work on occupied and unoccupied (voids) properties.

Receiving instructions and completing reports via PDA, work includes immersion heaters, fans, showers, security lighting, communal lights, domestic electrics, completion of minor works certificates and inspection, testing & remedial work on exchanges and voids.

Electrician Essential Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent
