Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited seeks a Maintenance Electrician to perform reactive and planned electrical maintenance in social housing in Ealing. You will work on occupied and void properties, traveling between sites with a company van and fuel card provided.

The role requires 2+ years in domestic electrical repairs, NVQ 2/3, 18th edition and 2391, with a full UK driving license. Excellent communication is essential for safer, compliant work.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent.
• 18th edition.
• 2391.
• ECS Gold Card or working towards - Desired.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Good Communication skills.
• At least 2 years experience with Social Housing Contractor or Local Authority on domestic electrical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social housing properties in the Ealing area.
• Mobile role travelling to domestic housing association properties for preventative & reactive maintenance and remedial work.
• Immersion heaters, fans, showers, security lighting, communal lights, domestic electrics and minor works certificates.
• Inspection, testing & remedial work on exchanges and voids.

• Potential for overtime/call-outs.

We are recruiting for a leading social housing contractor to recruit Maintenance Electricians to carry out reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social housing properties in the Ealing area.

This is a mobile role, traveling to domestic housing association properties for preventative & reactive maintenance and remedial work on occupied and unoccupied (voids) properties.

Receiving instructions and completing reports via PDA, work includes immersion heaters, fans, showers, security lighting, communal lights, domestic electrics, completion of minor works certificates and inspection, testing & remedial work on exchanges and voids.
