Job summary

Qualifications

• City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in electrical installation.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems and control panels.
• Knowledge of PLCs or automation systems desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Work on control panels, wiring, motors, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and support PLC and control systems (where applicable).
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of electrical systems.
• Assist production teams to maintain efficiency and performance.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

Electrician required for Glasgow based company.

We’re now looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team—someone who can ensure electrical systems are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably across fast-paced production environments.

£32,000 to £35.000 per annum

Duties:

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on industrial equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime

Essential Requirements:

Driving License/ transport due to location of site

• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with industrial electrical systems and control panels

• Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
