The role requires hands-on maintenance across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems with PLC familiarity. 2+ years in FMCG/manufacturing is expected, with City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or automated environments.
• Knowledge of PLCs / automation systems (desirable).
• Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, safety-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical & mechanical faults efficiently.
• Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot issues including PLC and control systems.
• Support production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
• Assist with installation, upgrades, and improvement projects.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organised working environment at all times.

We’re now looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team—someone who can help keep equipment running smoothly, minimise downtime, and make a real impact in fast-paced production environments.

£32,000 to £35,000 per annum

Duties:
