Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Glasgow is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join a leading facilities management provider. This permanent full-time role covers Glasgow and the Central Belt, with a salary up to £39,000 DOE.

You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance across sites, complete paperwork, attend breakdowns, and assist with safety tasks such as POWRA, method statements, and risk assessments. A recognised electrical qualification and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experienced in maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
• Excellent fault finding and diagnosis skills a must.
• Must have a full clean driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM in accordance with maintenance specification.
• Complete paperwork for PPM, reactive and breakdown works and submit to contract administrator.
• Attend site for breakdowns and be on regional on-call rota.
• Identify and record plant faults and ensure swift repairs to keep equipment in serviceable order.

Mobile Maintenance Electrician (V-163411)

Location Glasgow, Scotland Sector Building & Construction Salary £37,000.00 to £39,000.00 per annum

Mobile Maintenance Electrician - Glasgow - Salary up to £39,000 DOE CBW are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a leading facilities management provider. This is a permanent, full-time mobile role, covering Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland.

You will be responsible for all PPM's and Reactive Maintenance across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification.
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
• Ensure reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
• Identify and record all plant failures using quotation forms and issue to line manager.
• Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.
• Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
• Undertake Point of Work Risk Assessment (POWRA) prior to starting work evidencing it is safe to proceed.
• Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times.
• To attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours (call outs).
• Take part in the regional on-call rota.

Person Specification:

• Experienced in maintenance and repair of Electrical Systems
• Excellent fault finding and diagnosis skills a must.
• Basic knowledge in building fabric repair.
• A recognised electrical industry qualification will be required.
• Qualified to IEE 18th edition.
• 2391 Testing and certification of electrical installations. (Desirable)
• Must have a full clean drivers' licence.

Experienced in the following is desirable:

• Low voltage electrical distribution system and switchgear,
• Fire alarm systems
• Ventilation and A/C systems
• LTHW heating boilers and pumps
