Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Response Maintenance team covering the East Midlands. You will specialise in day-to-day repairs and maintenance for social housing clients, delivering high service standards in occupied properties.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,093 for a 39-hour week, with bonus schemes, overtime and call outs (1 in 4). A company van, fuel card, uniform and PPE, PDA, holidays, pension and life insurance are provided to support your work.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (essential).
• 18th Edition wiring regulations required.
• AM2 qualification essential.
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent for inspection/testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance in social housing domestic settings.
• Perform void property repairs, rewiring, testing and upgrades before re-let.
• Provide excellent customer service in occupied properties.

Job description

We are currently looking for a qualified Electrician to join our successful Response Maintenance Business covering the East Midlands area. You will specialise in day-to-day repairs and maintenance for our reputable social housing clients.

The Electrician Role

• Undertaking electrical repairs and maintenance work within a social housing domestic setting, with occasional electrical testing requirements on mutual exchanges
• Voids - Repairs, rewire, testing and general upgrade works of void properties before they are re-let
• Demonstrating excellent customer service skills when working in a customer facing environment in occupied properties.

What will you bring as an Electrician?

• Qualified to an NVQ 3 level as an Electrician, with an 18th Edition certificate and AM2, which is essential
• City & guild 2391 or equivalent in inspection and testing is preferrable
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Electrician role. A company van will be provided.
