Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited are recruiting an Electrician for social housing reactive maintenance across North West London. You will perform electrical maintenance and repairs in occupied domestic properties, with a focus on fault finding, testing and delivering high-quality workmanship in tenants' homes.

The role requires a valid City & Guilds in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance, testing, or domestic installations.
• Background in social housing, housing associations, or council properties preferred.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and diagnostics on domestic electrical systems.
• Testing & inspection, including EICRs.
• Carrying out reactive maintenance and repair works.
• Working within occupied properties and liaising with tenants.
• Using a PDA to manage and complete jobs.
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Salary: £44,000 per year

Build Recruitment are currently working with a leading Housing Association to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their reactive maintenance team across North West London. The Role

You will be carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs within occupied domestic and social housing properties. The role requires strong fault-finding skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in tenants’ homes.

Day-to-Day Duties

• Fault finding and diagnostics on domestic electrical systems
• Testing & inspection, including EICRs
• Carrying out reactive maintenance and repair works
