Your Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrician to join a Manchester-based social housing maintenance team on a 3-month contract. The role focuses on domestic electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and rewiring within occupied and void properties.
The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition and ECS Gold Card, with a strong track record in social housing or domestic property maintenance. A driving licence and own tools are required.

We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join our client's maintenance team on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician with a strong background in domestic electrical maintenance and repairs who is looking to work with a respected and growing organisation.
Carry out electrical repairs, fault finding, and circuit diagnostics within social housing properties.
Complete full and partial rewires to occupied and void properties.
Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations and company standards.
Accurately complete job records and documentation following each visit.
Deliver excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes and maintain a professional approach at all times.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification and a valid ECS Gold Card.
Previous experience within social housing or domestic property maintenance is desirable.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
Own electrical tools.
Must be able to provide recent work references before submission.
Company vehicle provided (subject to a clean UK driving licence).
Opportunity to secure a longer-term contract based on performance.
38-hour working week (Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-4:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am- 3:30 pm).
