Job summary

MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our social housing projects in Croydon (CR0). The role covers repairs, maintenance, testing, and EICRs in void and occupied properties, on a 42.5-hour week with an immediate start potential.

You will perform NICEIC certification tasks, work safely, and participate in a 24-hour call-out rota when required. A Full UK Driving Licence and relevant electrical qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with social housing properties.
• Ability to start at short notice.
• Must hold Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to obtain UKATA Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
• Ability to pass a Basic DBS Check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance in social housing properties.
• Complete EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports).
• Undertake testing and provide NICEIC certification.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Attend scheduled appointments and manage workloads.
• Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota when required.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (42.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute break)

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrician to join a Social Housing contractor. The role involves working within both void and occupied properties, carrying out repairs, maintenance, testing, and certification work.
