Job summary

Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL) is looking for a qualified Electrician to maintain, repair and install across domestic and commercial properties with a strong focus on quality electrical work and safety.

The role offers a company van, tools, fuel card, uniform, tablet and phone, plus 27 days annual leave and up to 10% pension contributions. On-call rota pays £864 weekly, with a competitive annual salary and long-term security.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition wiring regulations experience or time served
• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
• AM2 qualification preferred but not essential
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Full, clean driving licence
• Proactive, flexible attitude to work and travel
• Basic DBS Check arranged by BFL

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs, and installations across domestic and commercial properties
• Maintaining and fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls, pumps, communal lighting, hot water systems, and HVAC units
• Completing rewiring, testing, and inspections to ensure systems are safe and compliant
• Diagnosing issues quickly and delivering high-quality, efficient repairs
• Managing materials, recording work accurately, and working safely in line with regulations
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring homes are safe and fit for purpose

• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate

• Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
• Proficiency with IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• A Basic DBS Check (arranged by BFL)
