Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL) is hiring an Electrician to focus on quality electrical maintenance, repairs and installations across domestic and commercial properties, with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency and customer service. The package includes a company van and tools, £864 per week on on-call, 27 days’ annual leave, up to 10% employer pension, a £500 annual benefits allowance, and ongoing training.

Required: 18th Edition, City & Guilds Test and Inspection, NVQ3 or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance, repairs and installations.
• Ability to fault-find and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across domestic and commercial properties.
• Maintain and fault-find electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls and HVAC units.
• Complete rewiring, testing and inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Diagnose issues quickly and deliver high-quality repairs.

Excellent out-of-hours pay

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs, and installations across domestic and commercial properties
• Maintaining and fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls, pumps, communal lighting, hot water systems, and HVAC units
• Completing rewiring, testing, and inspections to ensure systems are safe and compliant
• Diagnosing issues quickly and delivering high-quality, efficient repairs
• Managing materials, recording work accurately, and working safely in line with regulations
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring homes are safe and fit for purpose
• Experience with 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent time served
• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
• AM2 qualification preferred but not essential
• Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
• Proficiency with IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Commitment to Bromford’s values and acting as a positive ambassador for the organisation
• Proactive, flexible attitude to work and travel
• A Basic DBS Check (arranged by BFL)
