Job summary

Novus Property Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Electrician to perform fault finding and responsive repairs in tenanted social housing across the Central belt, including Edinburgh and Glasgow, with some travel to Dundee. You will work 39 hours weekly, plus out-of-hours on call, and be part of a supportive, safety-conscious team.

You should have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, AM2, and 18th Edition regulations. A full UK driving licence and NIC EIC registration are advantageous.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation; AM2; 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in social housing refurbishment.
• Full UK driving licence; travel involved.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fault finding & responsive repairs on tenanted Social Housing properties.
• Works include replacing miniature circuit breakers, small electrical repairs, switches, re-certification, certificating all works (2391 beneficial).
• Occupied properties; working from job tickets or handheld device; manage own day/workload.
• Deliver outstanding service to customers in their homes; adhere to Health and Safety policies.

Job Location: Site based covering the Central belt, around Edinburgh, Glasgow with some travel to Dundee . Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.

Based on a Social Housing Tenanted property contract, working on responsive repairs your role will be varied , and customer focused, surrounded by like-minded teammates who work together to ensure an excellent service. An outline of your responsibilities and experience

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation , AM2, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations,
• Experience within social housing refurbishment environment.

As an Electrician you will possess the 18 th Edition, AM2 or equivalent, 2391 would be beneficial however training if appropriate will be provided. NIC EIC registered preferable. You will need to be a confident driver with a Full UK driving licence as travel is involved with this position. What is equally as important is the ability to take responsibility to use your initiative to identify solutions and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, delivering customer satisfaction.
