Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking an Electrician for site-based responsive repairs across the East & West Midlands, with a 39-hour week and on-call duties. You will work in social housing environments, delivering high-quality electrical maintenance in residents' homes, supported by a friendly, safety-conscious team.

You should be qualified to 18th edition, AM2, and NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation; NICEIC registration preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified to 18th edition and AM2, preferably NICEIC registered.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) AM2, BS7671:2018 and 2391-52 (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fault finding & responsive repairs on tenanted Social Housing properties.
• Works include but are not limited to replacing MCB – circuit breakers, rewires, emergency and external lighting, switches, minor installations, shower repairs and replacements, smoke alarms, extractor fans, testing, inspecting and re-certification, certificating all works.
• Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily.
• Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes.
• Following Novus' Health and Safety policies and standards.

Site based covering the East & West Midlands in the main occasionally further a field. Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.

Based on a Social Housing Tenanted property contract, working on responsive repairs your role will be varied, and customer focused, surrounded by like-minded teammates who work together to ensure an excellent service. An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience - Electrician

• Following Novus' exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
• Qualified to 18th edition and AM2, preferably NICEIC registered
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) AM2, BS7671:2018 and 2391-52 (or equivalent)
• Experience within social housing refurbishment environment.
• Solar PV, EV Charging, battery storage and domestic ventilation. And PAS 2030 Retrofit knowledge and qualifications are advantageous
• This role will require a DBS check and a full UK driving license is required.
