Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a qualified Electrician for a long-term contract in our Response Maintenance team covering the West Midlands.

You will specialise in day-to-day repairs and maintenance for social housing clients in occupied properties. We offer a competitive basic salary (£40,093 for a 39-hour week), overtime and call-out allowances, a company van with fuel card, uniform and PPE, a PDA, paid holidays, pension contributions and life insurance, plus access to free legal/financial

The Electrician role:

• Undertaking electrical repairs and maintenance work within a social housing domestic setting, with occasional electrical testing requirements on mutual exchanges
• Voids - Repairs, rewire, testing and general upgrade works of void properties before they are re-let
• Demonstrating excellent customer service skills when working in a customer facing environment in occupied properties.

What will you bring as an Electrician?

• Qualified to an NVQ 3 level as an Electrician, with an 18th Edition certificate and AM2, which is essential
• City & guild 2391 or equivalent in inspection and testing is preferrable
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake theElectricianrole.A company van will be provided.
