Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician (electrical bias) to provide reactive and preventative maintenance across multiple sites in the UK.

The role focuses on LV electrical systems, fault finding, and delivering small works in collaboration with the Projects and Construction team. The successful candidate will ensure systems comply with BS7671, assist with handover of new installations, and maintain safety through proper risk assessment and calibrated test equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Must hold City and Guilds level 3 technical certificate in electrical discipline.
• Must hold City and Guilds 2382 Level 3 (BS 7671) or equivalent.
• Hold Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation/Maintenance (2357).
• AM2 and JIB skills card required.
• City and Guilds Level 3 certificates in inspection/testing/certification of electrical installations.
• Formal training in operation and maintenance of UPS systems and Generators.

Responsibilities

• Maintain LV electrical distribution and lighting systems; perform PPM routines.
• Repair and fault find on electrical equipment and systems.
• Delivery of small works projects with Projects and Construction team.
• Ensure compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations.
• Assist in hand-over and snagging of new installations; health and safety compliance.
• Maintain test equipment; ensure calibration and regulatory compliance.
• Produce reports for AFM and maintain stock levels of spares.
• Oversee Control of Works AP role and coordinate with APs/CPs.
• Participate in Emergency Call Out rota and site log book updates.
