Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Electrical Technician to support the Technical Supervisor and Area Operations Manager across multiple sites in Kendal, UK. The role focuses on reactive and planned maintenance of building electrical systems, fault finding, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will carry out LV electrical maintenance, support small works projects, and assist in hand-overs and snagging of new installations.

Qualifications

• Skilled work requiring technical training (NVQ3 or equivalent).
• Apprenticeship or equivalent training in electrical installation and maintenance.
• City and Guilds Level 3 technical certificate in electrical discipline.
• City and Guilds 2382 Level 3 BS 7671 wiring regs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all LV electrical distribution, lighting systems and undertake PPM routines.
• Maintain equipment, appliances and fixtures connected to electrical systems as directed.
• Delivery of small works projects with AFM and Projects/Construction team.
• Ensure repairs/installations comply with BS7671 wiring regs.
• Assist in project hand-over and snagging of new installations.
