Job summary

CBRE Local UK seeks a Multi Skilled Technician (electrical bias) to support reactive and planned maintenance across sites in Wales. You will handle maintenance, fault finding and repairs on LV electrical systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist on small works/projects with the AFM and Construction teams.

The role requires an apprenticeship or equivalent training in electrical maintenance and qualifications such as City & Guilds 2382 and Level 3 NVQ.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation and maintenance qualifications are required.
• Experience with LV electrical distribution and low voltage systems.
• Ability to work to BS7671 wiring regulations.
• Mechanically adept with fault finding and repair across electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain LV electrical distribution and lighting systems, perform PPM tasks.
• Carry out fault finding and repair on low voltage controls and UPS/generator systems.
• Assist with small works projects and handover of new installations.
• Ensure compliance with BS7671 and safety procedures.
• Complete risk assessments and maintain site log books and reports.
• Support outage response and out-of-hours emergency call out as required.

Education

City and Guilds level 3 technical certificate (electrical installation)

City and Guilds 2382 Level 3 BS 7671

Level 3 NVQ diploma in Electrical Installation/Maintenance

AM2

JIB skills card

Inspection, testing and certification (City & Guilds 2377/2391)

Formal training for UPS & Generators

PASMA / IPAF

Confined space / Roof working training

HV training / fire alarms / emergency lighting (specialist)

AP experience (preferred)
