Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions provides electrical maintenance services across BT buildings in the UK. The Electrical Technician role supports the Technical Supervisor and covers reactive and planned maintenance on LV electrical systems at multiple sites, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will perform fault finding, routine testing, and small works coordination, while adhering to CBRE standards and the out-of-hours rota as required.

Qualifications

• Qualified to a City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent
• Experience with low voltage electrical systems and maintenance
• Familiar with BS 7671 wiring regulations
• Ability to perform fault finding and repairs
• Awareness of safety procedures and risk assessments

Responsibilities

• Maintain low voltage electrical distribution and lighting systems and execute PPM routines
• Carry out fault finding and repair on LV AC/DC control systems
• Assist in small works projects and hand-over of new installations
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and safe working practices
• Produce reports and assist with equipment calibration and stock management
