Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician in Cassington to inspect, maintain and repair electrical and mechanical plant at our Sewage Treatment Works. The role covers fault diagnosis, testing and installation with safety and efficiency at the forefront.

You will undertake reactive and planned maintenance, respond to alarms, and record asset information to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprentice with significant mechanical/electrical experience.
• NVQ or C&G Level 3 in electrical engineering.
• 18th Edition preferred (training can be given).
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Undertake reactive and planned maintenance, respond to alarms and faults, install new plant as required.
• Record work and asset information to improve performance and identify risks.
• Provide specialist technical advice and coach staff, including apprenticeship programme.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and interact professionally with customers.
