CBRE is seeking an Electrical Technician to support the Technical Supervisor and Area Operations Manager with reactive and planned maintenance across various sites in Cardiff. You will handle LV electrical distribution, perform PPMs, and assist with small works while ensuring compliance with current regulations.
The role requires a formal electrical apprenticeship or equivalent, City and Guilds qualifications, and competence in fault-finding and LV systems.
Qualificações
- Must have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
- Must hold City and Guilds level 3 technical certificate in electrical discipline.
- Must hold City and Guilds 2382 Level 3 BS 7671 or equivalent; if not, qualification within 3 months.
Responsabilidades
- Maintain low voltage electrical distribution and lighting systems and perform PPM routines.
- Assist in project hand-over and snagging of new installations.
- Ensure compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations and safety standards.
- Diagnose faults on LV AC/DC control systems and repair as required.
- Liaise with CSC and AFM to ensure timely responses and reporting.
- Produce site reports and maintain stock levels of spares.
