Job summary

CBRE, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician to support reactive and planned maintenance of building electrical systems across sites. The role involves fault finding, repair work on LV AC/DC control systems, and ensuring compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations.

You will contribute to project handovers, manage test equipment, and participate in an out-of-hours emergency call rota while maintaining safe working practices and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent training in electrical installation and maintenance.
• City and Guilds level 3 technical certificate in electrical discipline.
• 2382 Level 3 certificate (BS 7671) or equivalent.
• NVQ diploma in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• JIB skills card held.
• Training in UPS/generators and confined space is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all low voltage distribution and connected power/lighting systems and perform PPM routines.
• Maintain equipment and fixtures connected to electrical systems as directed.
• Assist in small works projects with AFM and Projects team.
• Ensure compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations.
