Job summary

CBRE Local UK is seeking an Electrical Technician to support maintenance across sites in Kendal. You will perform reactive and preventative maintenance on LV electrical systems, fault finding, and project support with the AFM and Projects teams.

The role requires an apprenticeship in electrical installation and the relevant City & Guilds certifications, including the 2382 (18th Edition) and an JIB card. UPS/Generator experience and HV knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

Apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation and maintenance with practical experience.
City & Guilds Level 3 cert in electrical discipline.
2382 (18th Edition) or equivalent, with 3-month window if not held.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
AM2 qualification.
JIB skills card.
Electrical installation inspection/testing certificates.
PASMA/IPAF training.

Responsibilities

Maintain low voltage electrical distribution, power, and lighting systems and perform PPMs as assigned.
Maintain equipment and fixtures connected to electrical systems as directed.
Deliver small works projects with the Projects and Construction team.
Ensure repairs/installations comply with BS7671 regulations.
Assist in handover and snagging of new installations for maintenance.
Fault finding and repair of low voltage AC/DC control systems.
Calibrate and maintain test equipment and comply with regulations.
Prepare risk assessments for reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
