Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a heavy industrial, high-volume manufacturing site in Gainsborough. The role is days-based, 7:30am–4:00pm, and aims to maximise plant availability through electrical maintenance, fault-finding and project work.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, support site engineers with complex faults and drive improvements across equipment, installations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification is required.
• Experience in electrical maintenance within industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Experience with three-phase systems, motor drives and control circuits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across plant equipment.
• Hardware and PLC fault-finding to maximise uptime.
• Read electrical drawings, manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Complete electrical installations, upgrades and improvement projects.
• Support shift engineers with breakdowns and technical issues.
• Record maintenance activity and spare-parts usage in a CMMS.

Salary: Up to £46,000

Shift: Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 4:00pm

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has opened for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy industrial, high-volume manufacturing site. This is a days-based position focused on maximising plant availability through electrical maintenance, controls fault-finding and improvement work.

You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, support the shift engineering teams with complex faults and complete electrical installations, upgrades and projects across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with three-phase systems, drives and electrical control circuits.

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across plant equipment.
• Hardware and PLC fault-finding to maximise equipment uptime.
• Reading electrical drawings, technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Completing electrical installations, upgrades and improvement projects.
• Supporting shift engineers with equipment breakdowns and technical issues.
• Recording maintenance activity and spare-parts usage through a CMMS.

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• PLC fault-finding or programming experience.
• Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi or Pilz control systems.
• HNC in Electrical Engineering.
• SAP CMMS experience.
• MEWP or confined-space training.
