Job summary

A UK leading manufacturer near Coalville is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their manufacturing site. You will perform proactive and reactive electrical maintenance across the plant, including motors, inverters, safety circuits and PLC fault finding, with Siemens PLC S7 and TIA Portal training provided.

The role offers a basic salary of 58K plus a performance bonus (OTE 65K+), plus overtime paid at a premium.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Level 3 and BTEC Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 or apprentice trained to level 3.
• Experience in proactive and reactive electrical maintenance in manufacturing.
• Basic fault finding on PLCs and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plant-wide proactive and reactive electrical maintenance to keep factory performance high.
• Execute PPM schedules and reactive maintenance as required.
• Work on motors, inverters, safety circuits and PLC fault finding; Siemens S7 TI A portal training provided.

Our client is a UK leading manufacturer with multiple sites across the UK, and they are now looking to extend their engineering division with an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at their manufacturing sites close to the area of Coalville. The basic salary is 58K+ plus performance bonus, plus overtime paid at a premium of x1.5 / x2. The shift pattern is 4 On, 4 Off 6-6.

Roles and Responsibilities of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Responsible for plant wide proactive and reactive Electrical Maintenance activities to ensure the optimum performance of the factory.
• Carry out PPM schedules and Reactive Maintenance Activities as required.
• Carry out work upon all electrical elements such as motors, invertors, safety circuits, performing basic fault finding on PLC's etc. Extensive training will also be provided on Siemens PLC S7 TIA portal systems along with further up-skilling opportunities.

To Be Successful as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• You will need to hold the following Electrical Vocational and Technical qualifications to be considered: City and Guilds Level 3 AND BTEC Level 3 or higher with NVQ Level 3, OR be Apprentice trained to level 3 or equivalent.
• Strong planned and reactive electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer
