Job description

Location: Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire

We are seeking skilled Electrical Technicians at various levels – from experienced hands‑on builders to senior and lead candidates – to join a growing electrical assembly team. You’ll be working on the assembly, wiring, testing, and integration of complex electrical control panels and systems for advanced industrial and engineering applications.

About the Role

You’ll assemble and test electrical components, subassemblies, and control systems to high quality standards. Depending on experience level, roles range from hands‑on assembly through to supervision and coordination of technicians to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical subassemblies and control panels from drawings, schematics, or verbal instructions.
  • Wire and terminate control and power circuits, harnesses, and looms.
  • Carry out fault‑finding, testing, and verification of systems.
  • Support system integration, ensuring projects are completed to specification and schedule.
  • Complete all documentation accurately, including build records and timesheets.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and follow company HSE guidelines.
  • (Lead/Senior roles) Support supervision, mentoring, and workflow coordination within the team to meet departmental efficiency and quality targets.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in low and high voltage panel wiring and system assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Good understanding of electrical/electronic systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience building or integrating complex or bespoke electrical systems.
  • Supervisory or team coordination experience (for senior and lead roles).
  • Familiarity with control/data systems and fibre optic termination.
  • Experience with production processes and equipment.
Qualifications

ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
