Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Guildford is seeking a Technical Director - Electrical to lead MEP building services projects, with a focus on aviation-related facilities. You will supervise detailed designs, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery to client expectations across multiple UK sites.

You will collaborate with a team of 60 engineers, manage feasibility studies, and drive technical excellence from concept through to commissioning, while maintaining safety, quality and programme targets.

Qualifications

• UK vetting level of Security Check (SC) eligibility.
• Experience delivering MEP Building Services projects with aviation background.
• Proven project leadership across mechanical, electrical and public health disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the production of detailed and performance specifications.
• Joint leadership within an MEP team providing design and project management.
• Supervise delivery, feasibility studies, and client communication.
• Develop and manage resource planning, contracts and KPI delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with BIM and sustainability specialists.
