Job summary

WSP in London is seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Director to lead the data centre electrical design across UK/EMEA. The role focuses on delivering technically challenging projects within the Mission Critical Facilities team, driving energy efficiency and scalable data centre solutions.

You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with clients and stakeholders, and shape strategy and growth while working from our London office with a hybrid work model and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Chartered status or working toward Chartership with CIBSE/IET.
• Expertise in electrical design, power distribution and backup systems.
• Ability to lead a team of engineers and deliver data centre projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Strategic thinker with knowledge of energy management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management, vision, values and leadership.
• Develop client relationships and brand within the UK and EMEA.
• Meet monthly and annual budgets; support MEP budget planning.
• Drive strategic initiatives with senior leadership.
• Share knowledge across the global WSP network.
• Oversee work pipeline, finances and operational management.
• Build relationships with clients, developers, contractors and architects.
