Job summary

WSP is seeking an Electrical Technical Director for Building Services in London. The role leads multidisciplinary teams within MEP, guiding design and technical delivery on UK projects and acting as the client’s main point of contact for project success.

You will oversee detailed design production, feasibility studies, and resource planning, while upholding high ethical standards and professional integrity within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical design engineering experience across multiple project sectors.
• Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams within MEP projects.
• Production of detailed/performance specifications and client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Lead a joint leadership capacity within the MEP discipline team to provide design and technical advice.
• Supervise completion of detailed designs and the work of others in this function.
• Direct production of detailed/performance specifications for the discipline.
• Act as client’s key contact and ensure project delivery against client deliverables and KPIs.
• Manage resources and workflow, briefing the project team and ensuring contracts are in place.
