Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technical Director for our Data Centre sector in London. You will lead a team of engineers to design and implement cutting-edge electrical systems, optimise energy use, and ensure reliability and scalability of data centre operations.

You will drive strategic initiatives, manage budgets, and build strong relationships with clients, developers, and contractors across the UK and Europe, shaping the future of data centre technology.

Qualifications

• Chartered status through CIBSE/IET Engineering Council or willingness to pursue this.
• Electrical design engineering expertise across power distribution, generation, and critical backup systems.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management, uphold team vision and values.
• Develop client relationships and strengthen the brand in the UK and EMEA.
• Meet monthly/annual budgets at team level and support MEP budget planning.
• Collaborate with director and senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Share knowledge and skills across the global WSP community.
