Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an associate electrical engineer for our London Building Services team. You will take a leading role in delivering MEP electrical design across high-profile projects, supervise detailed designs, and guide junior engineers.

The role requires strong client-facing skills and a grasp of UK standards. You will contribute to feasibility studies, develop detailed specifications, and ensure timely delivery in a collaborative, hybrid working environment in London.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK electrical building services design and related standards.
• Ability to lead engineers and manage feasibility to detailed design.
• Client-facing role and delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of detailed and performance specifications for the discipline.
• Develop and mentor junior staff within the team.
• Coordinate with project team and ensure contracts/letters of intent are in place.
• Maintain project overview, resource planning and team workload.
