Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Support Engineer to support HV/LV electrical networks across multiple wastewater treatment works. You will provide technical guidance, assist with asset upgrades, investigations, and reports, and help develop teams toward Authorised Person status.

The role requires strong electrical engineering knowledge and safety compliance. Base locations include Beckton, Hampton, Crossness and Beddington.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in industrial electrical power and engineering.
• Authorised Person status or training planned.
• Understanding of Electricity at Work Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for electrical systems in operation and maintenance.
• Input to risk management and asset upgrade schemes.
• Investigate electrical failures and compile technical reports.
• Maintain asset registers, manuals and other technical information.
• Support site inspections and mentor others toward Authorised Person roles.
• Review safety procedures and methods for electrical work.
