Job summary

Ross-Shire Engineering Limited is seeking an Electrical Supervisor at our Newton Aycliffe facility. You will supervise electrical works on site and in the workshop, coordinating electricians and trainees to deliver projects in the water sector.

Applicants must have ECS Gold Card and SSSTS, with 2391 testing experience advantageous, and a full UK driving licence. You will ensure compliance with BS 7671 and client requirements, maintain safety standards, and liaise with engineers and managers to

Qualifications

• Experience supervising electrical teams on site and in workshop.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities under pressure.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• ECS Gold Card and SSSTS required.
• 2391 Testing & Inspection experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of BS7671 and electrical standards/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and allocate electrical work on site and in workshop.
• Lead electricians, trade operatives and apprentices to meet programme deadlines.
• Interpret drawings and specifications per BS7671 and client requirements.
• Manage labour, materials, plant and equipment to support electrical works.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues to deliver safe, high-quality works.
• Maintain toolbox talks, RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
