Job summary

RSE Water is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join our Newton Aycliffe facility on a full-time basis to oversee electrical delivery for Water industry projects. Travel and occasional stays away from home are required with accommodation and subsistence provided.

You will lead electricians and apprentices, manage resources, coordinate with project teams, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across site and workshop operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisor capacity.
• ECS Gold Card and SSSTS – required.
• 2391 Inspection and Testing – advantageous.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, supervise and allocate electrical work on site and in workshop.
• Lead and coordinate electricians, trade operatives and apprentices.
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications and schedules to BS 7671 and client requirements.
• Manage labour, materials, plant and equipment across site and workshop operations.
• Monitor progress against project programmes and address issues.
• Maintain health and safety, deliver toolbox talks, review RAMS and permits.
• Inspect electrical works, oversee QA documentation and certification.
• Maintain records and project handover information.
• Liaise with Project Engineers, Project Managers, clients and other trades to coordinate works and identify opportunities.
