Job summary

RTL Group is seeking a skilled Supervisor to deliver works on Northumbrian Water schemes in Middlesbrough. The role demands a strong civil engineering background with water or wastewater experience.

You will supervise site operatives and subcontractors, coordinate labour, plant and materials, deliver toolbox talks, and ensure health and safety compliance and programme adherence on site. You will monitor quality, maintain site records and liaise with the Site Manager and project team to drive

Qualifications

• Experience supervising site operatives and subcontractors.
• Strong civil engineering background with water/wastewater schemes.
• Full UK driving licence and clean driving record.
• Good RAMS knowledge and health and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• CSCS Gold supervisory card; SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Desirable Northumbrian Water project experience.

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Supervisor to help deliver works on Northumbrian Water schemes in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate must have previous water industry experience and a strong civil engineering background.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.
• Managing day-to-day site activities.
• Overseeing civil engineering works on water and wastewater schemes.
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
• Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Liaising with the Site Manager and project team.
• Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
• Monitoring quality and maintaining site records.
• Gold CSCS or relevant supervisory CSCS card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Previous experience working on water or wastewater schemes.
• Experience working on Northumbrian Water projects is desirable.
• Strong civil engineering background.
• Good understanding of RAMS and health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
