Job summary

Southern Water is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical works on water industry projects across Kent, Sussex and Hampshire. You will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to project requirements.

You’ll ideally be based in Hampshire or West Sussex, with willingness to lodge away from home and travel as needed. Essential qualifications include 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection, an ECS card, SSSTS, and a fully qualified Electrician/Approved Spark.

Qualifications

• 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection qualifications.
• Valid ECS card and fully qualified Electrician / Approved Spark.
• SSSTS and proven supervisory experience.
• Experience in the water industry is highly desirable and often essential.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate works with high health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical works on water industry projects, ensuring safety and quality.
• Lead from the front, supervise teams and coordinate site activities.
• Maintain project standards and deliverables while travelling as required.

Electrical Supervisor - Water Industry

Location: Southern Water (Kent, Sussex and Hampshire)

Rate: £350 a day CIS

Duration: 12 months +

Are you an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in the water industry? We're looking for someone who can confidently take responsibility for supervising electrical works and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What You'll Bring

• You’ll ideally be based in Hampshire or West Sussex, although this isn't essential.
• You’ll be comfortable with regular travel and be happy to lodge away from home when required.
• You’ll hold 2394 / 2395 Testing & Inspection qualifications.
• You’ll have a valid ECS card and be a fully qualified Electrician / Approved Spark.
• You’ll hold SSSTS and have proven experience working in a supervisory capacity.
• You’ll have previous experience working within the water industry - this is highly desirable and, for most projects, essential.
• You’ll be confident supervising teams, coordinating works and maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality.

The Role

As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll oversee electrical works on water industry projects, ensuring everything is completed safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.

You’ll need to be a strong communicator, organised and confident leading from the front, with the ability to manage site activities and ensure works are delivered to the required standards.
