Job summary

Strabag (UK) seeks an Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical, surface, tunnels and shaft works within a major tunnelling program. The role requires SCADA/complex drawings oversight, HV up to 33kV authorisation, and a proven track record on large infrastructure projects.

You will ensure compliant systems of works, lead electrical personnel, and coordinate distribution across TBM, surface and shaft sites while maintaining safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• ECS Gold Card is essential.
• Full HV authorisation up to 33kV is required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Amendment 3.
• SSSTS qualification.
• Ability to interpret complex electrical drawings.
• Experience on major tunnelling projects preferred.
• Experience in shaft sinking operations and EPB/Open TBM works.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Electrical personnel, plant, and distribution across shaft, tunnel, and surface works.
• Develop and enforce Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), RAMS, and task briefings.
• Produce weekly/monthly progress and look‑ahead reports.
• Coordinate electrical distribution across all construction sites.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and spares; supervise commissioning.
• Liaise with tunnel construction and planning teams to support schedule.
