Job summary

STRABAG SE in the United Kingdom seeks a senior Electrical Lead to head the railway/tunnelling electrical teams across multiple locations on a 110km route. You will oversee design, procurement and installation of HV/LV systems, driving safe work practices and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

The role requires TBM tunnelling experience, deep knowledge of construction standards, and proven ability to deliver complex electrical projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical teams on major civil projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction, testing and commissioning regulations.
• TBM tunnelling experience and familiarity with safety standards.
• Expert knowledge of products, construction details and quality rules.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead electrical teams across locations on the 110km route.
• Oversee design, procurement and installation of electrical systems.
• Develop solutions for temporary and permanent HV/LV distribution.
• Produce and implement Electrical Safety Management Plan.
• Coordinate with DNO and manage risks with Safe Systems of Work.
• Appoint and manage HV/LV Authorized Persons and supervising staff.
• Control isolations and energisation of installations.
• Forecast and manage temporary electrical power.
• Plan resources and ensure delivery within programme and budget.
• Guide the electrical team in line with company culture and values.
