Job summary

STRABAG is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for the HARP project, a major North West water infrastructure endeavour. You will lead electrical, surface, tunnel and shaft activities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on a high‑profile tunnelling site.

Key requirements include ECS Gold Card, HV up to 33kV, 18th Edition, and extensive tunnelling experience. Strong leadership and commissioning exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• ECS Gold Card and HV up to 33kV authorisation are required.
• Relevant City & Guilds/Eng Tech qualifications or equivalent.
• Experience with TBM tunnel drives and SCL works is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Electrical, Surface, Tunnels and Shaft works and tunnel construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with Strabag (UK) systems of work and safety standards.
• Manage electrical personnel, plant, distribution and related activities.
• Produce equipment specifications, drawings, and site set-up for TBM and surface works.
• Develop safe operating procedures, RAMS, and SSOW documentation.
• Coordinate electrical distribution across shaft and tunnel sites.
• Implement and supervise preventative maintenance and spare parts management.
• Maintain records of inspections and maintenance.
