Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Compensation: £34,703.20 + Benefits

The role

As an Electrical Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will supervise complex aircraft maintenance activities, work independently using approved technical data and instructions, and ensure compliance with our Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).

Day‑to‑day responsibilities
  • Provide flexibility during peak flying periods by supporting the flying task during the busiest parts of the day.
  • Undertake Out-of-Phase (OOP) maintenance tasks during aircraft turnarounds.
  • Assist aircrew with crew‑in rectification to ensure operational readiness.
  • Make decisions and take actions within authorised limits, based on trade, experience, and competence.

This role is full time working 36 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Valley, Anglesey.

Essential experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role, fully competent with all required authorities in place.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or a military equivalent.
  • Minimum academic qualification: City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or an equivalent certification.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
