Job summary

The Labour Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee on-site electrical works for a National Grid project in Melksham, Wiltshire.

Candidates must hold National Grid Person CP competency, with prior supervisor and National Grid/substation experience, and all PPE before attending site.

Qualifications

• National Grid Person CP competency required.
• Manual Handling competence required.
• Previous Electrical Supervisor experience is essential.
• National Grid / substation experience preferred.
• Candidates must have appropriate PPE before attending site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical works and site activities.
• Manage electrical operatives and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are completed safely and to the required standard.
• Conduct daily briefings and coordinate site activities.
• Ensure RAMS and safe systems of work are followed.
• Monitor progress and report to site management.
• Coordinate with other contractors and site teams.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety.
• Ensure compliance with National Grid procedures and site requirements.
• Support lifting activities where appropriately qualified.

Electrical Supervisor - National Grid

Melksham, Wiltshire £400-£450 per day - Outside IR35 National Grid Project

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to work on a National Grid project in Melksham, Wiltshire.

This position requires previous National Grid experience and, importantly, candidates must already hold the required National Grid Person CP competency.

The Role

As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising electrical works on site, ensuring activities are completed safely and in accordance with National Grid procedures and project requirements.
