Job summary

Carrington West is currently seeking an experienced M&E Electrical Supervisor for a site in Melksham, Wiltshire. You will supervise electrical and M&E activities on site, ensuring safe, compliant delivery in line with National Grid requirements.

The contract runs until February 2027. The daily rate is £400 CIS, with applicants expected to hold National Grid CP, NS12, Lift Supervisor and Manual Handling tickets and have relevant substation experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Grid CP, NS12 and Lift Supervisor tickets.
• Experience in M&E / Electrical Supervisor roles.
• Experience working in National Grid / substation environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervising electrical and M&E activities on site.

Are you an experienced M&E / Electrical Supervisor with current National Grid competencies looking for your next contract within the Transmission & Distribution sector?

Job Role

As M&E Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with National Grid and project requirements.

You will be:

• Supervising electrical and M&E activities on site
• Coordinating site teams and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
• Monitoring health, safety and quality throughout delivery
• Ensuring site activities comply with National Grid procedures and requirements
• Supporting the wider project and site management team
• Ensuring safe systems of work are followed by site personnel
• Coordinating lifting activities where required

Requirements

You must hold the following:

• National Grid Person CP
• NS12
• Lift Supervisor
• Manual Handling
• Previous M&E / Electrical Supervisor experience
• Experience working within National Grid / substation environments
• Appropriate PPE to attend site
